The Office of Academic Affairs oversees the processing of all School of Medicine academic personnel actions and is responsible for many personnel related activities including academic recruitment, appointment, merit and promotion review, faculty development and mentoring, sabbatical leaves, salary administration, diversity programs, employee and labor relations, and Volunteer Clinical Faculty administration.
